As a former special commission and with its magnificent, exceptionally rare walnut burl veneer, it possesses an individuality and charisma that cannot be replicated. This grand piano has been comprehensively restored with the utmost care, great attention to detail, and deep respect for its history. Wherever possible, its original substance has been preserved. The original soundboard has been professionally repaired, overhauled, and retained, while, among other things, the bridge pins and pinblock have been completely renewed with the finest wood selection – with the aim of preserving the sonic soul of this instrument for future generations. With a length of just under two meters, this Bechstein combines an exceptionally characterful, grand sound – with the elegance and sonic depth for which the great instruments of this era are valued. The action is currently in the final stages of completion. We are carefully reworking, rebalancing, and regulating it with the goal of a playing feel that is as refined as it is precise, at the highest level. The result is not a standard restored instrument, but a unique collector's item where history, sound, craftsmanship, and exceptional aesthetics come together.
