Buy Feurich
Used and new Feurich uprights and grand pianos
Origin & History
Feurich was founded in 1851, and its brand rights have been based in Vienna since 2012. Feurich has worked with the Chinese manufacturer Hailun since 2007, and the jointly developed Model 122 won the Diapason d’or in Paris in 2007.
Positioning
Feurich builds in two tiers today: entry models are built entirely by Hailun in Ningbo, China, while mid-range instruments combine Chinese and Austrian manufacturing with final assembly at the piano workshop in Vienna.
Sound character
The Vienna-finished Feurich models are known for a warm, singing tone, which is what earned the Model 122 its Diapason d’or in 2007.
What to check
With Feurich it’s worth asking whether you’re looking at a pure Hailun entry model or one finished in Vienna, both carry the Feurich name but differ in build quality and price. What to check when buying used in general is covered in the piano buying guide.
Known series
Known models are the entry-level 122 and the Vienna-finished Model 123 Vienna.
