We are offering an outstanding FEURICH piano, built in Langlau, in exceptional condition and finely tuned to A = 432 Hz. An exceptionally fine piano, from its touch to the full, ideal sound of a piano of this size. The quality of craftsmanship is undoubtedly among the finest that German piano-making has produced. It is a superbly preserved Model 114 with a Renner action from the famous Langlau production line. We are selling it solely because we are moving abroad. There is hardly a blemish or scratch to be found on this instrument. It has been played extremely rarely over the years and has been kept almost exclusively in a single, well-climate-controlled location. Its appearance speaks for itself: there are hardly any marks on the keys or hammer heads; almost everything still looks as good as new. I bought it from an acquaintance who had originally purchased it new from Schlaile in Karlsruhe for a five-figure sum, but had played it virtually never. That’s a story in itself! This piano is something special—an absolute rarity in this condition. It’s not to be confused with newer Feurich models, where only the name is the same. This is a piano manufactured in Langlau—from a time when Feurich was among the “Top Five” in the world and built the very finest pianos. You can clearly see its first-class craftsmanship and legendary quality even in the photos. It features a wooden damping mechanism and offers excellent playability—that is, the right substance in the touch. This is a piano that one doesn’t really sell. It’s very important to us that it goes to someone who will truly appreciate it, because it holds its tuning perfectly at the health-promoting 432 Hz. It has an exceptionally refined, singing tone with richness in the lows and brilliance in the highs—nothing obtrusive. I’ve played Steinways, Grotrians, Pfeiffers, Schimmel, Bechsteins, etc., which I didn’t like in comparison. You can see in every detail that it was crafted with a soul that is rarely found today—or perhaps only at five-figure prices. I’d be happy to send serious prospective buyers studio-quality recordings and many more photos. The original warranty certificate bearing J. Feurich’s signature, the purchase invoice, and two keys are included. Parting with this musical treasure is by no means easy for us. We’d be delighted if it were played and found a good home!
