Kawai CE-7 acoustic upright piano, built in Japan around 1978 (serial number K978941). The piano is a family heirloom and was moved to its current home about 12 years ago. After the move, the piano was tuned once. Since then, it has not been tuned again, and no recent technical maintenance or inspection by a piano technician has been carried out. The piano has 88 keys and 3 pedals. Dimensions: approx. 144 cm wide × 108 cm high × 58.5 cm deep; weight: approx. 200 kg. The cabinet was painted cream white in the past and therefore no longer has its original wood finish. The original wood color is still visible on the inside and at the back. The painted cabinet shows signs of use and wear consistent with its age; see photos. As I am not a piano technician myself, I cannot comment on the technical condition or any maintenance work that may be required. Please note that the piano will definitely need to be tuned after transport. The piano must be collected by the buyer. Due to its weight, a sufficient number of people will be required to help with the move.
