This is a historic Grotrian-Steinweg parlor grand piano, freshly renovated and tuned. (in June 2026) Dimensions 170 cm x 150 cm, height 100cm - Ivory keyboard in excellent condition. 88 keys. - Brass pedals and other elements in a beautiful Art Nouveau style (legs, pedals, music stand, original stool) An elegant Art Nouveau casing has been restored in black - top lids and keyboard cover in high gloss - rest of the casing in satin black Brass fittings are polished to a high gloss. Grotrian-Steinweg is a very famous German manufactory from which the very famous American company Steinway & Sons also originates (Steinway in English is Steinweg in German). The finest nuances of sound and its precise playing feel particularly distinguish this grand piano! When you sit at this grand piano, your living room turns into a concert hall. With the lightest finger movements, you will achieve a pure sound with surprising volume. Therefore, this historic grand piano with serial number 16008 was produced in 1906 and was originally owned by Professor Aleksander Wielhorski, who was a professor at the Warsaw Conservatory from 1929 to 1939. In the interwar period, he performed as a pianist in Poland and in European countries and the United States. In 1952, after the death of Prof. Wielhorski, it was purchased by my family.. and was very little used in the last period.
