Origin: We acquired this piano in Baden-Württemberg. The parents of the previous owner purchased it new in 1990 as an entry-level instrument. Although the Yamaha SU 131 model was somewhat oversized for this purpose, it was intended to be a solid, reliable instrument. It was hardly played at all. It was professionally transported only once; both at its original and second location, it was kept under optimal climatic conditions. Therefore, the piano is in virtually like-new condition both technically and visually. Work carried out: Due to this condition, very little work was required on the piano. Acoustic system: - Inspected: optimal condition - Tuned multiple times to A440 The tone of the Yamaha SU 131 can be compared to that of a high-quality grand piano with a 180 cm length. It is balanced and clear without sounding too bright. Action: - All wear parts checked: no replacement needed - All screws inspected and tightened - Minor action adjustments Yamaha is renowned for its extremely precise actions. The SU 131 also features slightly longer keys, allowing for even more precise playing.
